1、PP、PE
It belongs to environmental protection materials and can be directly contacted with cosmetics and food. It is the main material for packaging organic skin care products. The material is naturally white and translucent. According to different molecular structures, it can reach three different degrees of hardness and softness.
2、PET
PET material is soft, and its Chinese name is polyethylene terephthalate, which is No. 1 material on the international material identification number. Its main characteristics are high air tightness, good pressure resistance, high water resistance, and transparent. Its transparency is up to 95%, which is higher than other commonly used plastic packaging containers, but not heat resistant. PET is a kind of environmental protection material, which can be directly contacted with cosmetics and food. It is the main material for filling organic skin care products. It is often used as the packaging material for food, beverage bottles and cosmetics bottles. It is also used as the packaging container for alcohol because of its high air tightness and no pores in the packaging container.
3、HDPE
The Chinese name is high-density polyethylene, also known as high-density PE, which is the No. 2 material on the international material identification number. Its main characteristics are good acid and alkali resistance, and its hardness, tensile strength and creep are better than those of low density polyethylene. The products processed with it are translucent and have poor heat resistance. There will be pores in the packaging container. They are often used in the packaging of medicine bottles, cosmetic bottles and other plastic products.
4、LDPE
The Chinese name is low density polyethylene, also known as low density polyethylene. It is the fourth material on the international material identification number. Because of its low molecular density, it is softer than HDPE. The products processed with it are translucent, heat-resistant, and have pores, but it has good acid and alkali resistance. Containers processed with this material are often used in chemical products, such as facial cleansers, gel bottles, cosmetic bottles, hoses, etc.
5、PCTA
PCTA is a kind of copolymer polyester plastic material. It has high transparency, excellent low-temperature toughness, high tear resistance and good processing performance, excellent chemical resistance, electroplating, oil spraying, scratch resistance, density 16% lower than PC, processing cost 40% lower than PC, good printing, coloring, electroplating performance, toughness 3 times higher than transparent ABS, in line with European RoHS environmental protection directive, suitable for high-grade cosmetics packaging.
6、PCTG
PCTG is a transparent plastic with glass-like transparency and density close to glass, high gloss, chemical corrosion resistance, impact resistance, easy processing, and can be used for injection molding, injection pull blow molding and extrusion blow molding. It can also produce special shapes, appearances and special effects, such as bright colors, frosting, marble texture, metallic luster, etc. It can be used as a source of packaging materials such as perfume bottles and bottle caps, cosmetics bottles and bottle caps, lipstick tubes, cosmetic boxes, etc.
7、AS
AS is not hard, brittle (there is a clear sound when knocking), transparent, and the background color is blue, which can directly contact with cosmetics and food. In ordinary lotion bottle vacuum bottles, it is generally used to make bottle body materials, and can also be used to make small capacity cream bottles.
8、ABS
ABS belongs to engineering glass, which is not environmentally friendly. It is yellow or milky white in color and has high hardness. It cannot be directly contacted with cosmetics and food. In cosmetics packaging materials, it is generally used to make inner covers and shoulder covers.
9. Acrylic
Also known as PMMA or plexiglass, it has good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, is easy to dye, easy to process, beautiful appearance, and hard material. In order to maintain the transparent texture, it is often sprayed outside and inside the bottle, or colored during injection molding. It is often used for cosmetic bottle cap and body packaging.
